Bombay HC Directs CBDT to Decide Condonation Plea Before Reassessment Challenge

The Bombay High Court, by its order dated 6 July 2026, directed the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) to dispose of a condonation application filed under Section 119(2)(b) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 within three months.
