CBIC notifies Central Excise Duty Revised on Specified Petroleum Products

Notification No. 49/2026-Central Excise dated 16 September 2026 amends the duty rates under two entries of the existing Central Excise exemption notification. The rate against serial number 1 is revised to ₹0.50 per litre and the rate against serial number 2 to ₹20 per litre, effective from the date of Gazette publication.
