CESTAT says Advertisement Consideration Makes JMRC Payment Taxable

JMRC released ₹11 lakh for lighting, decoration and display of Metro banners and a live Metro model during Diwali. CESTAT found a clear nexus between the payment and the publicity activity and held that the receipt constituted consideration for service, while setting aside only the unnecessary remand by the Commissioner (Appeals).
