CESTAT says De-Bonding Does Not Bar CENVAT Credit of Duty Paid

Blue Mount Textiles paid the applicable duties on inputs and capital goods when it exited the 100% EOU scheme and thereafter took CENVAT credit as a DTA unit. CESTAT, following the Madras High Court's decision in Stanadyne Amalgamations, held the credit admissible and rejected Revenue's appeal.
