Clarification on Interest Subvention Support under Export Promotion Mission

Executive Summary
DGFT has now permitted a one-time procedural relaxation for cases where export credit was disbursed on or after 02 January 2026 but the UIN was either not generated prior to disbursal or had been generated under the erstwhile IES framework.
The Trade Notice provides a retrospective window for generating valid UINs up to 31 May 2026 for FY 2025-26 cases and also prescribes a prospective 15-day timeline for UIN generation for FY 2026-27 onwards.
The clarification further confirms that interest subvention shall remain admissible from the actual date of loan disbursal and not merely from the date of UIN generation, thereby safeguarding exporters from denial of benefits on account of procedural transition issues.
