Customs Duty Exemption on Petrochemicals till June 30 2026

The Central Government has granted nil rate of customs duty on a wide range of petrochemical products and polymer inputs, along with corresponding exemption from Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC)on select goods.
The exemptions are temporary in nature, effective from April 2, 2026 to June 30, 2026, aimed at easing input costs and stabilising downstream industries.
