DGFT Proposes Suspension of 544 Underutilised SIONs

DGFT, after reviewing utilisation of SIONs, has identified 544 norms that remained unutilised during the last three financial years and proposed their suspension. Exporters, importers, EPCs, industry associations and other stakeholders have been given 15 days from 7 September 2026 to explain continued or proposed utilisation, failing which their comments may not be considered.
