GST E-Invoicing Scope Expanded from January 2027

CBIC has amended Notification No. 13/2020-Central Tax to separately identify four categories for the e-invoicing framework: supplies to registered persons, export supplies, supplies received from unregistered persons taxable under reverse charge, and import of services. The amendment takes effect from 1 January 2027.
