GSTAT Introduces Token Mechanism for Timely Filing of Appeals

The GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) has introduced a token facility to help taxpayers facing technical issues while filing appeals. Appellants can generate a token on the GSTAT portal by 31 July 2026 by providing basic details. The token will serve as proof of intent to file the appeal within the prescribed time, provided the complete appeal is submitted within 60 days of token generation.
