GSTAT says Electronic Gift Vouchers Can Pass On GST Benefit

Sane Retails passed the GST rate-reduction benefit through credit notes and Electronic Gift Vouchers credited to customers' e-wallets. GSTAT held that such vouchers constitute a direct monetary transfer where they are unconditional, without expiry or usage restrictions, and traceable to the underlying transactions.
