Gujarat HC says GST Adjudication Cannot Rest on Inability to Analyse Data

Ford India challenged substantial GST demands arising from alleged differences between e-way bills, invoices and returns. The High Court noted that the adjudicating authority had expressly recorded its inability to reconcile thousands of entries and had not called for additional material from the taxpayer. Finding that the matter required consideration, the Court continued the interim protection pending final disposal.
