Gujarat HC says Investigator cannot adjudicate his own case

Gujarat High Court has stayed, at the interim stage, an IBBI disciplinary order challenged on the ground that an officer connected with the investigation also participated in the Disciplinary Committee. 

The petitioner relied on Regulation 3(1), which prohibits an investigating authority from being part of the Disciplinary Committee. The Court issued notice and granted ad-interim relief pending further consideration.
