Gujarat HC says SEZ Policy Can Protect Promised Fiscal Benefits

The lease was executed on 04.12.2003, before the Gujarat SEZ Ordinance came into force on 10.02.2004. The Court held that the Ordinance gave statutory form to the earlier SEZ policy and that the promised fiscal benefit could not be denied merely because the lease preceded the Ordinance.
