Karnataka HC rules ITAT Appeals Follow the Assessing Officer’s Jurisdiction

The assessment in this case was made by the Central Circle at Coimbatore and the ITAT order was passed by the Chennai Bench. Although the assessee was located at Bengaluru, the Karnataka High Court held that it had no jurisdiction to entertain the Revenue's Section 260A appeal and dismissed it with liberty to approach the appropriate High Court.
