Karnataka HC says GST Order Cannot Survive Denial of Effective Opportunity

The assessee had received DRC-01A but could not submit a detailed response because of distress proceedings by its bankers and the locking of its premises. The Court found this circumstance sufficient to warrant a fresh opportunity and quashed the adjudication order and recovery notice.
