NCLAT says IBC Appeal Limitation Cannot Be Extended Beyond 45 Days

The appellant challenged an NCLT order pronounced on 17 April 2026, but filed the appeal on 29 June 2026, resulting in a 43-day delay beyond the prescribed 30 days. NCLAT held that the IBC's special limitation regime permits condonation only within the additional 15 days and dismissed the delay application and consequently the appeal.
