NCLT says Moratorium Protects Possession Even After Lease Expiry

The licence over the premises expired on 18 December 2025, while CIRP commenced only on 10 March 2026. NCLT held that although the contractual right had expired, Section 14(1)(d) barred recovery of the property during moratorium because the Corporate Debtor was admittedly in possession on the insolvency commencement date.
