Rajasthan HC says Unsigned GST Documents Are Non Est in Law

Star Raison Landmarks challenged a GST demand after finding that the SCN and Order-in-Original uploaded on the GST portal carried neither a physical nor digital signature. The High Court held that portal access does not amount to a deemed digital signature and that authentication of the document is mandatory. The SCN, order and consequential recovery proceedings were therefore quashed.
